We are exploring of #WOLCircles guided mastery to the practice of #WOL

With @tolja, Mara Tolja, our Guest Subject matter Expert With the possible presence of @JohnStepper, John Stepper, if airline traffic permits 🙂 Topic writing is on progress. We recommend to check the #PKMChat hashtag to see the prechat conversation taking place to get more insights. Topic contribution by @MichelleOckers: Below are some of key ones and ideas to get question framing started. From John Steppers’s Circle Kit: “Working out loud circles are small groups of people learning to work in an open, generous, connected way so they can accomplish a personal goal. Over 12 weeks, through actual practice, circle members build a network of relationships with people who can help them with that goal.” Support from a small group (3-5) people – How effective have you found peer support via small groups for helping you to learn something or achieve a goal? Pros and cons? Guided Mastery – Where have you seen a guided mastery approach taken to building skills and behaviours? What makes it work? Building relationships – Where have you consciously built relationships to help you achieve a goal? Was this effective? Why/Why not? Generosity – John sees generosity as important to working out loud. How can you WOL with generosity? Being purposeful – Do you have a purpose in mind when you build your network? How does this impact the way you build your network? PKMChat being about Personal Knowledge Management encompass Knowledge lifecycle in general. Our first chat was about learning, acquiring Knowledge. Our second is about sharing it. Week after weeks we will switch from one end of the lifecycle to another while exploring all the channels that could be used: social, formal, writing, videos. Feel free to suggest topics by tweeting to @pkmchat.
